"When Life Gives You Lemons. . . . "

My neighbor, Carol, gave me the only lemon that her beautiful potted lemon tree produced this year. She said it might not be good because it was so large. It did have a thick rind with a lot of white pulp, but the lemon itself and the lemon juice was delicious. It had several seeds inside that had begun to sprout and I thought I might try to plant them! They are drying on my window sill ~ I probably should have planted them right away, but I don't know. I thought you were supposed to let seeds dry before you planted, so that's what I am doing.

I like iced tea with lemon and a little Splenda ~ before I might have said sugar, but that's an ugly word now in my case!

". . . . make lemonade."

Gratitude

When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the morning light, for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food, and the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies with yourself.
